Beginning Computers I

This class is for novices. The questions to be answered are, “How do I use a computer?” ‘How do I get started?’ and “Where can I get additional help?’ We will cover simple computer components. The desktop will be designed by you. The use of email and internet access will be taught. In-class exercises and examples will be covered and many of your questions will be answered. This is a 2-day course, 2 hours each day. Second day is March 8. No prerequisites. Your instructor is Sam Montana
Beginning Computers II

This class is designed for beginners and is an interactive class. Overall computer organization is defined. File path and file extensions explained. Questions to be answered are, “Where do my photos and files go and where do I want them saved? And How might I organize them? How to make a folder/sub folder will be taught. Programs, files, folders and sub-folders are covered. We will learn to move and/or copy files as part of your computer organization. This is a 1-day class of 2 hours. Prerequisite: Beginners Class I. Your instructor is Sam Montana.
Introduction to File Explorer

This is a must for all Windows users. File Explorer is the application that provides you with the ability to create, move, delete, rename and search for files and folders on your hard drive, flash memory sticks and the cloud. You can do these tasks easily and simply by dragging and dropping files to other locations. We will use the Labs computers. Your instructor is Phil Sorrentino.
